Meet Wesley “Chip” Hall
Wesley “Chip” Hall is the Founder, CEO, and President of Wings to Recovery, LLC. He is a North Carolina Certified Peer Support Specialist (NCCPSS), a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC-I), and a person in long-term recovery.
Before founding Wings to Recovery, Chip served as an embedded Peer Support Specialist with the Henderson County Post-Overdose Response Team (PORT), working alongside emergency responders and community partners to connect individuals and families with recovery resources after an overdose. That experience gave him a firsthand understanding of how critical trust, timing, and compassionate follow-through can be when someone is ready to accept help.
Chip created Wings to Recovery to bridge one of the most vulnerable gaps in the treatment process: getting a person safely from the moment they agree to seek help to the facility prepared to care for them. Under his leadership, the company has grown into a regional transportation network serving substance-use and mental-health treatment programs across the Southeast and Midwest.
His leadership style combines lived experience, professional training, direct communication, and genuine compassion. Chip believes every client deserves to be treated with dignity, honesty, and respect—and that a safe ride can become the first meaningful connection in a person’s recovery journey.
